Position Overview: The Montgomery Training Center offers various academic educational programs, and this position is instructional in nature.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

- Teach basketball coaching courses to young adults.

- Commit to student learning, integrating technology into the curriculum, and encouraging engaged scholars.

- Teach assigned classes following approved syllabi, outlines, and instructional materials.

- Maintain accurate student records in compliance with Keith Coleman Basketball Training requirements.

- Submit required student reports to the Admissions & Records Office as per schedule.

- Direct and evaluate the learning experience of the students in accordance with adopted curricula and approved procedures.

- Provide counsel/guidance to students when needed.

- Faculty members may be required to teach evening and summer classes.

Additional Duties & Responsibilities:

- Serve on academy committees as assigned.

- Attend professional development opportunities when appropriate.

- Attend the graduation ceremony.

- Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

- High School degree

- Candidates must pass a criminal background check

Preferred:

- Bachelor’s degree (or higher)
